DTZ Best paper Award

The German Terahertz Center (DTZ) promotes young scientists  by a prize for outstanding scientific publications in the Terahertz domain. Only DTZ members can nominate. A committee of experienced researchers will select the awardee.


Prerequisites to be nominated:

  • The first author or corresponding author was not awarded a PhD degree at the time point of nomination
  • The publication is no older than one year prior to the announcement of the best paper application period (14.12.2025).
  • The manuscript was published in a recognized, peer-reviewed journal.
  • At least one DTZ member is amongst the authors


Submission:

  • A brief laudatio on the scientific rigour of the paper  Begründung (max. 150 words)by the nominating DTZ member
  • The publication as pdf file

  • Deadline: 28. February 2026


The awardee receives a certificate. The publication as well as the awardee will be highlighted on the DTZ homepage.
